Many students work part-time in the country in different sectors to find a suitable time for studying. Able to get a full-time job also depends on which subject or specialisation the student is pursuing. Malaysia also provides student visas that help students study in established universities. International students can get jobs after graduation that, during the time between finishing their graduation and getting jobs, they must utilize by doing different part-time jobs.


The Malaysian Government holds a specific rule. For a clear concept, there is the amount that an international student can earn after graduation as a teacher. The amount will be around 26.65 RM per hour. The per-time job duration is 20 hours based on holidays and a weekend which fully depends on how the students will manage their work and education simultaneously. The students need to prepare a visa for study and jobs. International students can get their student visa in a month cause it will take two to six weeks; after that, the student can get approval later, and the processing time will be 14 days. The job permission after a student’s graduation, the student needs to wait for a “landing order” from the  “Immigration Department of Malaysia”, which will be forwarded to be an employee in the country. The students can earn more or less RM25 – 50 per hour in Malaysia after getting a part-time job. After that, if a student can get a john in the country Malaysia that will be a quality salary given by their company which is more than 29,400 MYR per month. Averagely, the salary that a student can get after gathering workplace experience will be 79,000 MYR annually, which is sufficient for an international student in Malaysia
